To bring the research center to international level, KESRI, established on April 19, 1998, is working on a new framework. Specific plans are carried out to achieve the following three goals:
First, to organize the true cooperation system between the universities and industries related to the field of electrical engineering through researches.
Second, to make all of its facilities and equipment accessible to whoever needed in Korea.
Third, to produce high quality workforce in both master and doctoral levels in the field, and to make the most out of the information in both the sciences and technologies that have been collected from various sources.
For this purpose, we are carrying out projects designed to involve professors, graduate students, and experienced engineers. We are also planning certain unique educational programs to distribute the outcomes of the research.
Finally, we ask for the active support and participation from universities, industries, and government for the center to operate as a bridge for academic innovations and technological development.
