(High Voltage and Electrical Materials Division) is devoted to the area of electrical
and physical properties, development of advanced materials,
high voltage phenomenon, photonics and lighting source
technology, and its related researches, Typical works
involves diagnostic method for monitoring at in-service
power apparatus, preventive diagnostic technology for
electric power system, new lightoing source and illumination
system, and measurement of properties on new electrical
materials. This Division is also cooperated with universities,
research center and various industries through educational
activities each other. We also trained for professional
engineers based with advanced knowledge of related fields,
which are advanced materials and voltage engineering.
It is now setting with technical supports of research
companies, such as KEPCO and heavy industry company etc.,
which has advanced technology and commercal applications
in electrical materials high voltage engineering area. |
